metmar.studio is a cultural design and research studio founded by architect Mulham Al-kharboutli.

Rooted in Syria and shaped through work in New Mexico, metmar.studio explores how material traditions and vernacular knowledge can inform contemporary practice. The studio engages in fieldwork, drawing, prototyping, and hands-on building with a close collaboration with craftspeople and community members.
