Historic Santa Fe Foundation, Santa Fe, NM | 2025 Partnership: Jacob Sisnores This exhibition explores earthen architecture as a shared language between regions and traditions. Centered on the historic Dar al-Islam formworks from Abiquiú, New Mexico, the project connects architectural practices from the Arab world and the American Southwest through tools of making: wooden molds, vaulting systems, and handmade adobe forms. Earth, Form, and Memory Bring together archival artifacts and newly crafted pieces and reinterprets the act of building as a cultural exchange. The exhibition reflects on how materials, geometry, and craftsmanship carry memory across generations, shaping both structure and meaning.
