Damascus, Syria Hosted and Funded by Sanad Youth, UNFPA. This exhibition presents the outcomes of Rammed Earth Week. Architecture students from Damascus University came together to explore rammed earth not as a building material for walls, but as a medium for crafting functional objects and everyday elements. The participants designed and created products—ranging from furniture pieces and light fixtures to planters and incense holders—using traditional rammed earth techniques in innovative forms. Each piece reflects a process of experimentation and material sensitivity. The exhibition featured an introduction to rammed earth construction, interactive activities, and an overview of earthen architecture in Syria.
